The Dr. Wayne Gulliver Project
The passing of Dr. Wayne Gulliver has left a significant void in the Canadian and international medical communities. A dermatologist, researcher, mentor, and leader, and our devoted friend and family member, Dr. Gulliver's career was marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a deep commitment to his patients and colleagues. From his groundbreaking genetic research in psoriasis to his leadership as the first Newfoundland-born Chair of Medicine at Memorial University, his contributions have been immense. This project seeks to not only preserve his remarkable legacy but to build upon it, inspiring a new generation of healthcare professionals to "consider Dermatology differently."
"The Dr. Wayne Gulliver Project" will encompass a series of research, teaching, and social-action activities.
The following initiatives are currently underway. Further expanded programs under consideration are described here. We welcome your comments, suggestions, and contributions.
